Sansara Living – Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy
At Sansara Living, we are committed to delivering premium furniture, home décor, and customized lifestyle products crafted with exceptional attention to detail. Many of our products are handmade, made-to-order, or customized according to customer requirements. As a result, each order undergoes a dedicated design, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality inspection process.
This Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy has been created to provide transparency and ensure a smooth customer experience. By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.
- Order Cancellation & Modification
1.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for both ready-stock and customized products. Applicable processing, design, or administrative charges may be deducted, and the remaining balance will be refunded through the original payment method.
For ready-to-ship products, cancellation requests received after 24 hours or after dispatch may not be accepted. Where cancellation is approved as an exception, a deduction of up to 20% of the order value may apply.
For customized, personalized, or made-to-order products, production activities may commence shortly after order confirmation. If materials have already been procured or manufacturing has begun, cancellation may still be considered; however, deductions ranging from 40% to 60% of the order value may apply depending on the stage of production.
Approved refunds are generally processed within 7–15 business days.
1.2 Order Modifications
Customers may request changes to dimensions, finishes, colors, materials, or design specifications within 48 hours of placing an order, subject to feasibility.
Modification requests received after this period may only be accommodated if sourcing and production activities have not commenced. Additional charges may apply depending on the nature of the requested changes.
To request a cancellation or modification, customers must contact our support team and provide the relevant order number. Requests should be submitted in writing for verification and record purposes.

- Product Inspection & Delivery Claims
2.1 Unboxing Video Requirement
To facilitate fair assessment of transit damage, manufacturing defects, missing components, or incorrect deliveries, customers are strongly advised to record an uninterrupted unboxing video from the moment the package is opened until the product has been completely inspected.
The recording should clearly show:
- The unopened package
- Packaging materials
- Product condition upon arrival
- Any visible defects or damage
Failure to provide a valid unboxing video may affect our ability to process certain damage-related claims.
2.2 Reporting Damage or Defects
If a delivered item is damaged, defective, incomplete, or significantly different from the confirmed order, customers must notify Sansara Living within 48 hours of delivery.
Claims should include:
- Clear photographs
- Video evidence (where applicable)
- Brief description of the issue
Customers should retain all original packaging materials until the claim review process has been completed.

3.1 Products Not Eligible for Return
The following items are generally non-returnable:
- Customized or made-to-order products
- Personalized furniture and décor
- Clearance, sale, or discounted items
- Gift cards or vouchers
- Products that have been assembled, installed, used, altered, or damaged after delivery
- Claims lacking sufficient supporting evidence where required
3.2 Eligible Return Situations
Returns may be considered only in the following circumstances:
- Verified transit damage
- Manufacturing defects
- Significant deviation from the confirmed order specifications
To qualify for a return:
- The Request must be submitted within 30 days of delivery.
- The product must remain unused and in its original condition.
- Original packaging, accessories, and purchase documentation must be retained.
- The item must pass inspection by the Sansara Living quality team.
3.3 Return Shipping
Unless the return is approved due to a verified manufacturing defect or delivery error, return transportation and logistics costs may be borne by the customer.
Customers may choose to arrange their own return shipment if preferred.
3.4 Refund Processing
After the returned product has been received and successfully inspected, approved refunds will generally be processed within 7–14 business days through the original payment method.
The following charges are typically non-refundable:
- Shipping and delivery charges
- Packaging expenses
- Payment gateway charges
- Cash-on-delivery handling fees (if applicable)
- Replacements & Exchanges
Replacement requests may be approved in cases involving:
- Transit damage
- Manufacturing defects
- Incorrect product delivery
Customers may be asked to provide photographs, videos, and other supporting documentation for verification.
In exceptional circumstances involving severe transit damage, Sansara Living may offer an advance replacement arrangement. A refundable security deposit of up to 50% of the product value may be required until the original item is collected and verified.
- Product-Specific Refund Guidelines
Standard Products
Ready-stock products may qualify for replacement, repair, store credit, or refund depending on inspection findings and the nature of the issue.
Customized & Made-to-Order Products
Because customized furniture and bespoke products are manufactured specifically for individual customers, refunds are generally not available after production begins.
Where appropriate, Sansara Living may offer:
- Repairs or refinishing
- Replacement of affected components
- Partial remanufacturing
- Alternative resolution options deemed suitable
- Cancellation by Sansara Living
Sansara Living reserves the right to cancel an order under circumstances including but not limited to:
- Material unavailability
- Product listing or pricing errors
- Technical system issues
- Suspected fraudulent transactions
- Order verification concerns
Where an order is cancelled by Sansara Living, any amount received from the customer will be refunded in full within 7 business days.
- Gift Purchases & Store Credits
For products purchased as gifts, any approved credit may be issued in the form of a store credit or gift voucher.
Refunds, where applicable, will only be processed to the original purchaser’s payment method.
- Return Documentation
Approved returns may require the following:
- Original invoice or proof of purchase
- Return authorization details
- Any supporting claim documentation requested by our team
Customers will receive return instructions after approval of their request.
- International Orders
Due to international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and logistics constraints, international orders are generally non-returnable and non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Every product undergoes multiple quality checks prior to dispatch.
As many of our products are crafted using natural materials such as wood, stone, metal, fabric, leather, and resin, minor variations in grain, texture, color, pattern, or finish are considered inherent material characteristics and shall not be regarded as defects.
Sansara Living reserves the right to determine the most appropriate resolution in accordance with this policy.
